Coach Lance Harpe
Hey there! I’m Coach Lance, Since 2012, I’ve been taking on some of the toughest ultramarathons—everything from 50Ks to five grueling 200+ mile races. Along the way, I earned a Top 10 finish at the inaugural Arizona Monster 300. I know firsthand what it’s going to take—physically, mentally, and emotionally—to go the distance.
As a UESCA certified ultra running coach and Navy Veteran, I know firsthand what it means to balance training with real-life demands. My approach goes beyond cookie-cutter plans—I believe in finding the right fit, because a solid coach-athlete relationship makes all the difference. Success in ultrarunning isn’t just about miles logged—it’s about understanding the unique strengths, challenges, and goals of each individual. Whether you’re preparing for your first ultra or refining your strategy for your next 200-miler, I’m here to help you train smart, push your boundaries, and reach new heights

Finding the right coach-athlete match is key to success. When there’s trust, respect, and a real understanding between us, that’s when the real progress happens. I take the time to get to know each athlete—their strengths, challenges, and goals—so I can tailor my coaching to fit their unique style and needs.
